About the Role
As Manager, Quality Assurance at London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), you will provide quality assurance for Securities Clearing Technology across all platforms by applying testing standards and approaches and directing test engineers. You will work closely with business collaborators, technology specialists, and suppliers to ensure all aspects of the system development lifecycle are safely and effectively delivered with quality built in. This role offers the opportunity to lead quality assurance in a complex domain with support and training provided on securities clearing and platform specifics. LCH (London Clearing House) is undergoing a large, multi-year change programme across SwapClear, RepoClear, and EquityClear business lines, focusing on technology platform improvements and maintenance, as well as harmonising and simplifying operations and supporting systems. You will lead and manage a team of test engineers, take ownership of end-to-end testing delivery aligned with LSEG’s quality standards and strategy, and ensure quality assurance is integrated into all stages of analysis, design, and software delivery. Maintaining test plans and approaches that align with standards and technology strategy will be key, alongside building positive relationships with internal and external collaborators and communicating complex technical information clearly and concisely.
Experience
- 7+ years in software delivery domain
- Proven hands-on experience leading quality assurance
- Solid experience with testing processes and methodologies including strategy, planning, design, implementation, reporting, and measurement
- Extensive hands-on test management experience in sophisticated technical environments delivering to tight deadlines
- Hands-on experience with at least one programming language and broad knowledge of current technologies
- Experience with automation test frameworks, ideally including BDD or other test-driven development approaches
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as GIT and Jenkins and understanding of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with public cloud environments
- Proven experience in Financial Market Infrastructure space; experience in securities clearing domain is an advantage
