About the Role
The Financial Times (FT) is a globally recognised news organisation known for its authority, integrity and accuracy. At FT, curiosity thrives and ambitious thinking is rewarded, offering you the chance to reach millions, create impactful work, and deliver impartial journalism in a polarised world. Join a warm, collaborative culture where you will connect with a diverse community of experts who support your growth, career aspirations and wellbeing. Your future at FT will be filled with opportunities that challenge and inspire you, enabling you to develop new skills and forge a career that can take you anywhere.

We are seeking a proactive, organised and commercially minded Marketing Executive to join the FT Specialist Events team, part of FT Live, the Financial Times' global events division. FT Specialist delivers specialist insight and intelligence to professional audiences worldwide across sectors such as asset and wealth management, financial advice, banking, economic development, investment and corporate governance. Alongside publications and digital products, FT Specialist offers a growing portfolio of conferences, awards, webinars and partner events.

In this role, you will support the planning and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns that attract high-quality audiences, drive event registrations and generate delegate revenue. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will manage campaigns across multiple events—from audience research and campaign planning through to execution, optimisation and performance reporting. You will use audience insights and data to develop targeted marketing activity, create engaging content and identify opportunities to reach new audiences.

You will collaborate with colleagues across content, sales, operations, design and wider FT marketing teams to ensure campaigns support each event's commercial objectives while attracting relevant senior professional audiences associated with the Financial Times. This role offers the opportunity to develop your marketing skills across a varied international events portfolio, contribute creative ideas and see the direct impact of your work.
