About the Role
We are seeking an NVQ Level 3 qualified Plumber to join our Facilities Maintenance Team at HMP Wandsworth, a category B adult male prison. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will work alongside experienced colleagues from various trades including plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, cleaners, and administrators, all dedicated to maintaining a secure environment.

This role offers the opportunity to use your skills to make a positive difference, supporting rehabilitation and positive change within the prison community. You will be part of a Ministry of Justice business providing critical, time-bound services to HMPPS. Experience
- Minimum two years' experience working as a plumber or in an equivalent role
- Experience working on commercial or industrial heating and water systems
- Familiarity with Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements
- Good working knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements

Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
- City & Guilds 6035 (Plumbing) and 6189 (Plumbing and Heating) qualifications or equivalent
