About the Role
We are seeking a Mental Health Social Worker to join our busy, dynamic Hospital Discharge Team. The role involves undertaking statutory duties including Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) work, Care Act Assessments, Best Interest decisions, Safeguarding, Mental Capacity Assessments, and other related responsibilities. You will manage a caseload across all ages and mental health needs, including psychosis, personality disorder, complex anxiety and depression, and services for older adults. The role requires close collaboration with voluntary and statutory services, including NHS partners. Effective communication and the ability to apply a range of social work interventions are essential. Interviews will be conducted in person at Highgate East Hospital, with the interview date to be confirmed.
