About the Role
We are seeking Mental Health Social Workers to join one of our locality mental health teams. In this role, you will undertake statutory work on behalf of Islington Council, working closely with the Trust. You will hold a caseload across all ages and mental health needs, developing your assessment skills in mental health. There is potential to work towards the Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) qualification if you do not already hold it. You will have the ability to work with individuals with a wide range of needs and communicate clearly using different styles and methods.

Experience
Experience working with individuals across a wide range of mental health needs is essential. Ability to manage a caseload and undertake statutory social work duties.

Qualifications
Registered Social Worker with Social Work England. AMHP qualification is desirable or willingness to work towards it. Enhanced DBS check with children’s barred list and relevant referencing required.
