This role involves advising across a full range of cost planning, project budgeting, forecasting, and strategic procurement services. You will conduct feasibility studies, advise on procurement strategies and contract selection, and prepare procurement reports. Applying value management techniques at the outset of projects will be key. You will manage estimating and cost planning activities, take ownership of and present final cost plans, and ensure final accounts are negotiated and agreed. Acting as a key interface with clients, stakeholders, and other consultants at all project stages is essential. You will handle contractual frameworks and standard forms of contract, identify and act upon opportunities to improve cost management procedures, templates, and services provided to clients, as well as improve internal systems and processes.
