About the Role

Our specialist healthcare team delivers world-class facilities and outstanding patient environments through innovative construction programmes. As an NEC Contract Manager, you will play a key role in a multi-million-pound healthcare construction programme, protecting our client's commercial interests through effective contract management, leadership, and collaboration across the delivery team. You will ensure contractual obligations are clearly understood and consistently applied, proactively managing events to maintain programme predictability. Your responsibilities include managing commercial communications in line with governance requirements, coordinating with PMO, Planning, Risk and other integrated teams to uphold commercial best practices, attending key client meetings, and managing contract variations with commercial clarity. You will also support contractual handovers and contribute to high-quality commercial reporting, ensuring the project maintains an accurate and current estimate of total cost throughout its lifecycle. Experience
Strong experience managing NEC contracts, ideally NEC4, within complex or regulated environments. Experience with CEMAR is preferred. Solid understanding of contract terms and conditions with consistent application. Skilled in analysing commercial data, producing reports, and communicating clear insights. Experience working within integrated project teams, supporting or leading commercial workstreams. Knowledge of procurement and supply chain management in regulated sectors. Awareness of sustainability, carbon, and social value considerations impacting commercial strategy.

Qualifications
Degree in quantity surveying, cost management, or a related discipline. Professional membership or working towards membership such as MRICS/RICS.
