About the Role
Join the team at Novotel London Blackfriars as a Night Auditor, reporting to the Front Office Manager and working under the Night Manager during overnight operations. As the hotel’s overnight representative, you will balance guest expectations, colleague needs, and commercial outcomes to ensure smooth and efficient night operations. Your responsibilities include conducting end-of-day financial audits by reconciling accounts, verifying transactions, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. You will facilitate check-in and check-out processes during overnight hours, ensuring room charges, payments, and guest information are accurate. Additionally, you will generate and distribute daily reports summarising financial transactions, room occupancy, and other relevant information for management review. Acting as the primary hotel representative overnight, you will ensure smooth hotel operations in the absence of senior management, assist guests with enquiries, reservations, late-night arrivals, and early departures, and proactively resolve guest concerns. You will also monitor hotel safety and security systems overnight, collaborate with the security team, respond to incidents or emergencies, and escalate issues as necessary. Supporting the preparation or service of the night menu and handling guest requests for food or beverages efficiently will also be part of your role.

Experience
Previous experience using a Property Management System is preferred; Opera Cloud experience is desirable but not essential.
