About the Role
Join us at Raffles London at The OWO, a landmark Grade II* Edwardian building on Whitehall, where luxury, glamour, and extraordinary experiences come together. As Night Chef de Partie, you will lead and maintain the night food service and kitchen operations, overseeing night cleaners and porters. You will work closely with all night staff to ensure guest requirements and food service, delivery, and production standards are met and exceeded. Your responsibilities include managing production, service, and hygiene standards, ensuring correct storage, rotation, and labelling of foodstuffs and equipment, and communicating issues and guest requirements to day teams. You will collaborate with sous chefs on stock ordering and deliveries, assist in training junior kitchen staff, and contribute to the development and production of dishes across all outlets. Additional duties include responding promptly to guest and employee needs, covering for senior staff when required, and participating in projects to advance kitchen operations. You will uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, ensuring all equipment and utensils meet hotel standards.
Health and Safety
You will be responsible for reporting and rectifying hazards immediately, being fully conversant with departmental Fire, Emergency, and Bomb procedures, and ensuring the safety of all persons and property within the premises. You will promote a general awareness of Health and Safety in all departmental tasks and activities, adhering strictly to laws, statutes, and ordinances.

Experience
Proven ability to provide high levels of service under pressure. Previous experience working night shifts and confidently leading a kitchen section is desirable. Experience within a luxury hotel environment working with LQA, Forbes 5* or equivalent standards is an advantage.
About You
Exceptional communication and customer service skills, both written and spoken. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask while maintaining a professional appearance. Willingness to contribute to a 24-hour operational schedule when required.
Qualifications
Ability to work night shifts as required. A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and food quality. Relevant culinary qualifications or equivalent experience preferred but not explicitly stated.
