About the Role
This role sits within the Business Services unit in the Operations Team, Digital Division at BBC Studios, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager. As the Operations Executive, you will lead the day-to-day delivery and operational management of the Business Services function, working with a high degree of autonomy and accountability within agreed frameworks. You will be the primary owner of daily operational activity, ensuring services across infrastructure, systems, tools, finance, and operational projects run effectively, securely, and to agreed standards.
You will act as the initial escalation point for most operational issues, resolving problems end-to-end wherever possible and escalating only complex, high-risk, or strategic issues to the Senior Operations Manager. As a trusted deputy, you will operate independently across daily operational delivery, enabling strategic oversight and portfolio leadership.
This is a varied, high-impact role offering broad exposure to technology, governance, finance, and product delivery within a fast-paced digital environment. The position is offered as a six-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.
