About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ is among the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts, providing a full range of hospital and community services for people in south London, as well as specialist care for patients from further afield. We are excited to offer a Band 4 post within the Bexley Service. The post holder will support our Assistant Service Manager in the daily operational delivery of the service, interacting with patients, consultants, external stakeholders, and healthcare referrers. The role includes leading the provision of a high-quality, comprehensive, and efficient administrative service, organizing meetings, providing PA support, and managing the team in line with Trust Policies.

Requirements

Experience
Extensive business administration experience demonstrating an understanding of key functions in providing an admin support service. Experience working in a customer service setting.

About you
Proficient in the use of IT systems and applications, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Able to demonstrate excellent written English, including grammar, punctuation, and structuring written text.

Qualifications
Good general education with English and Maths to GCSE standard or equivalent. Educated to diploma level or NVQ 3, City and Guilds certificate level in business administration or equivalent. Evidence of formal further training in short courses and significant experience of hospital administration.
