Hours
Full Time, 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Hybrid working available with regular attendance in the office mandatory.

About the Role
This role is within the Communications sub-team of the London Borough of Sutton & Royal Borough of Kingston Shared Pension Service. You will manage the pensions email inbox and handle enquiries from members, employers, and other pension scheme administrators via email and telephone. Additional duties include indexing incoming mail and updating pension system data. The position requires ongoing training on Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) regulations. Interviews will be held online.

Requirements

Experience
Administration experience and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Prior experience with the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) is desirable but not required as full training will be provided.

You must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and capable of prioritising your workload to meet strict deadlines. You will be a team player who collaborates on complex queries with other teams when required. The ability to interpret complex legislation and explain it clearly in plain English when responding to member enquiries is essential. A commitment to continuous personal development is also required.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required for this role, but a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong communication skills are essential.
