About the Role
Bexley Leaving Care team is part of Bexley Looked After Children and Permanence Service. The team supports young people aged 18-25 who were previously in care, providing information, advice, guidance, and support to enable a successful transition into adulthood. As a Personal Adviser, you will hold a caseload of care-experienced young people, providing 1:1 support and undertaking duties as outlined in the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000 and the Children and Social Work Act 2017, including reviewing and updating Pathways Plans. This role requires a committed and self-motivated individual to work within the Leaving Care team to help care-experienced young people transition to independence.

Experience
At least one year of experience as a Personal Adviser working professionally with young people, with an understanding of the challenges faced by care-experienced young people transitioning to independence.
