About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ is among the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts, providing a full range of hospital and community services for people in south London and specialist care for patients from further afield. As a Personal Assistant to the Medical Director and Director of Nursing, you will provide an efficient, comprehensive, and confidential administrative and organisational service. You will exercise independent judgement and initiative when dealing with queries and will work with minimal supervision. Your role will involve cross-cover arrangements with other senior leadership team EAs to ensure support is available at all times.

Requirements

Experience
Substantial experience of working as a PA within a large complex organisation such as the NHS. Previous experience of dealing with public/clients and working in a multi-disciplinary team. Experience of minute taking and servicing a committee or group.

About you
Self-motivated with excellent IT skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work on your own initiative and develop good working relationships with colleagues at all levels. Excellent communication skills and organisational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively.

Qualifications
A secretarial qualification such as an RSA 3 or an NVQ 3 in a relevant subject or equivalent.
