About the Role
London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a highly skilled Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This role focuses on enabling data platforms—including Databricks, Event Hubs, and Azure Storage—through infrastructure-as-code, automation, and modern DevOps practices. You will collaborate closely with engineering, data, and platform teams to streamline deployment pipelines, ensure reliability of data services, and support both real-time and batch data workloads. As part of LSEG, you will contribute to a global financial markets infrastructure and data business dedicated to driving financial stability, empowering economies, and enabling sustainable growth.

Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (mandatory)
- Proficient in Microsoft Azure core services, networking, and security
- Experience with data-centric platforms: Azure Databricks, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Storage (ADLS Gen2, Blob)
- Proficiency in SQL including querying, performance tuning, and data workflows
- Strong Python and Bash scripting skills
- Solid Linux system administration experience
- Exposure to containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Knowledge of Azure security best practices including RBAC, managed identities, and Key Vault
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps) and version control systems (Git)
- Experience with infrastructure automation, configuration management, and monitoring tools like Datadog or Splunk

Qualifications
