About the Role
At Packington Children’s Centre, we provide combined care and education places for children from babies to 5 years old. We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and highly organised Premises Manager to take overall responsibility for the safety, security, maintenance, and day-to-day operational management of the Centre’s building and grounds. This key role ensures that our facilities provide a safe, clean, welcoming, and compliant environment for children, families, staff, and visitors.
The successful candidate will work a split shift, responsible for opening and securing the site each day, carrying out routine maintenance, managing contractors, and ensuring all statutory health and safety requirements are met.
You will undertake maintenance and repairs within the scope of a competent handyperson, maintaining constant awareness of the physical condition of the building, furniture, and equipment, repairing or reporting defects, or requisitioning work as needed.

Experience
Proven ability to plan and organise workload independently across a site.
Experience supervising cleaning staff and contractors.
Competent in general maintenance and DIY tasks to a high standard.
