About the Role
We are seeking a Principal Placement Analyst (Finance) to support the analysis of adult social care placements, helping to shape how services are planned, delivered, and funded. You will turn complex data into clear insight to support decision-making across commissioning, finance, brokerage, and operational teams. Key responsibilities include forecasting demand and spend, analysing unit costs, supporting fee negotiations, and developing dashboards and reports that drive better value and outcomes. You will also lead reporting and forecasting of placements spend and demand, provide insight to support value-for-money, support financial assurance, audit and performance reporting, and develop Power BI dashboards and analytical tools.

Experience
Strong experience in finance or analytics, ideally within Adult Social Care.

About you
Confident working with complex data and influencing decisions. Strong Excel and Power BI skills are essential.

Qualifications
Professional qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
