Hackney is one of Britain's fastest-changing and most exciting boroughs. Our Development Management & Enforcement team provides vital services within the Borough and promotes a culture of positive planning across the Council to maximise benefits for residents and businesses. We are looking to strengthen our teams to maintain a high-performing, high-morale environment within the Planning Service.

This permanent position offers an opportunity to gain senior level experience, including supervision of junior staff and delegated powers to sign-off planning applications. The role carries great responsibility and requires a successful track record of organisational skills and reliability befitting the position.

Experience
Proven experience in town planning with a successful track record of organisational skills and reliability. Experience mentoring staff and supervising junior members is essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to manage delegated powers to determine planning applications.

Qualifications
