Salary
£36,000-£38,000 plus London Weighting with eligibility for the Ad Sales bonus scheme. Salary depends on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. Flexible working options are available and will be discussed at offer stage.
About the Role
The Producer role within the Programme Partnerships team at BBC StoryWorks involves creating high-quality short-form documentary films for commercial partners. You will work with multiple stakeholders to deliver projects from concept to completion, bringing creative and editorial flair to develop engaging, audience-first storytelling across a wide range of subjects including health, technology, business, sport, wellness, and sustainability. This role is ideal for an Assistant Producer looking to take the next step in their career. The team is responsible for producing award-winning digital series for BBC.com’s global audiences outside the UK, combining BBC storytelling heritage with industry expertise to create original commercial content that educates, informs, and entertains.
Your Key Responsibilities and Impact
Produce and originate distinctive multiplatform content. Assist other producers during busy periods. Create and shape compelling narratives aligned with client objectives and BBC editorial integrity. Manage multiple projects simultaneously across different territories. Act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients and partners. Oversee all production logistics including shoots, contributors, locations, and post-production workflows. Ensure all deliverables meet BBC StoryWorks editorial, legal, and compliance standards.
Experience
Proven experience producing and directing short-form films and social content from concept to final delivery. Experience managing content end-to-end including pre-production planning, shoot coordination, and post-production workflows. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with directors, creatives, clients, and stakeholders to meet creative objectives. Highly developed planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities. Excellent editorial judgement and a strong understanding of target audiences and their needs.

Qualifications
Knowledge of BBC Editorial Guidelines and compliance policies is desirable, or a willingness to quickly acquire this knowledge. Experience supporting Producers and Executive Producers across all production stages is advantageous. Proven familiarity with the latest production techniques and technologies is beneficial.
