About the Role
The Markets Operations AI Transformation Programme is a multi-year initiative aimed at fundamentally redesigning how Markets Operations serves customers, manages operational resilience, and automates controls at scale. This integrated transformation spans AI-enabled customer service, controls automation, incident prevention, and agentic business process automation across LSEG Markets including FX, DSM, PTS, RRS, LCH Ltd, and LCH SA.

As Programme Manager, you will own end-to-end delivery of defined work-streams from mobilisation through to scaled rollout and benefits realisation. Key responsibilities include managing delivery of customer query AI, controls automation, agentic and low-code business process automation, and redesigning customer reporting using modern technologies. You will maintain integrated delivery plans covering AI, automation, operating-model change, and controls, actively managing dependencies and tracking progress against milestones, risks, issues, and benefits.

You will act as a central coordination point across Markets Operations, Markets Engineering, AI & Cloud Enablement, and Risk, preparing materials for senior governance forums such as Markets COO/MLT updates, investment reviews, and steering committees. Delivery must comply with governance models for operational resilience, audit, and human-in-the-loop AI deployment.

Supporting change management activities across Markets Operations teams, including readiness planning, communications, training coordination, and transition to run-state, is essential. You will also own benefits tracking and outcomes realisation, focusing on capacity creation (FTE efficiency), reduction in manual processes and controls, and incident avoidance and resilience improvements.

Experience
- Proven experience delivering complex, cross-functional transformation programmes in regulated environments such as financial services, market infrastructure, payments, or clearing.
- Strong project management discipline including planning, RAID, governance, and financial management.
- Experience working with engineering, automation, or AI-enabled change.
- Ability to operate credibly with senior stakeholders and challenge constructively.
- Strong written communication skills, capable of producing clear, executive-ready updates and board-level artefacts.

Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in programme or project management are desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience or exposure to Markets Operations, post-trade, clearing, settlement, or operational resilience transformation is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AI governance concepts such as model risk, human-in-the-loop, and fallback design is a plus.
- Previous involvement in benefits-led transformation programmes and managing scaled delivery across onshore and offshore teams is beneficial.
