About the Role

As a Project Controls Manager, you will play a key role in delivering some of the South East's most significant capital investment programmes across infrastructure, transportation, and buildings. Working alongside multi-disciplinary teams, you will help clients deliver complex projects more effectively through robust planning, controls, digital solutions, and performance insight. This role offers the opportunity to work across the full project lifecycle, from business case development and programme mobilisation through to construction, handover, and benefits realisation.
You will lead client-facing project controls delivery on major infrastructure and transportation programmes, provide integrated programme controls solutions across planning, risk, cost, and performance management, and champion digital project controls and data-driven decision making. Collaboration with experts across Project Management, Cost & Commercial, Design & Engineering, Advisory, and Digital Intelligence is a key part of this role. You will also contribute to the growth and development of Arcadis' global Project & Programme Controls community.
Experience
Proven experience in Project Controls roles across Rail Infrastructure, Transportation, and/or Buildings projects. Strong understanding of planning & scheduling, risk management, cost engineering, scope management, and digital controls solutions. Experience supporting projects through multiple lifecycle stages, from mobilisation and set-up through to delivery, handover, and benefits realisation. Ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and design teams in collaborative environments.

Qualifications
A degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline. Relevant professional certifications such as APM Planning & Controls, Oracle Primavera P6, MSP, and/or Risk Management qualifications are highly desirable.
