Job overview We are looking for an enthusiastic Project Manager to join our team on a one year fixed term contract. The post is funded by NHSE London as part of the national Epilepsy Bundles of Care Transformation Programme. The aim of the programme is to develop and deliver a multi-faceted transformation programme to improve the care and experience of Children and Young People (CYP) with Epilepsy. The post holder will report to a STPN Nurse Lead for Epilepsy and work closely with the STPN Epilepsy Clinical Leads, the designated STPN Manager for the Programme and a further Project Manager. The programme of work will be delivered in close collaboration with South East and South West London ICBs. Main duties of the job The programme is linked to a new national programme of standards for Epilepsy care for CYP, and to the CORE 20+5 CYP programme for ICBs. This work will focus on linking health with social and educational care. The work will dovetail into an existing STPN Epilepsy workplan focused on 4 Pillars of Epilepsy Care: access to Tertiary Services, Mental Health support, Transition to Adult Services and Access to Clinical Nurse Specialist support which focuses on acute care. These are all part of a recognised national transformation programme to ensure safe and effective care, and to improve patient experience.
