About the Role
As a Project Manager at Linklaters, you will be responsible for all aspects of project management and the project lifecycle. This includes ensuring project requirements are clearly understood and aligned with objectives, establishing the project organisation, providing leadership, and developing a team to achieve goals. You will facilitate the selection of project suppliers and resources, ensure compliance with the firm’s project processes, and act as the first point of escalation and resolution for project risks and issues, escalating to the Head of Project Management as needed. You will line manage resources in a project context, ensuring performance and project health are maintained according to firm standards. You will review and create all project documentation including Business Cases, PIDs, Reports, and Change requests. Managing the project budget, including spend to date, forecasts, and accounting, will be a key responsibility. You will proactively manage risks and issues, applying pragmatic planning to budgets, schedules, and quality. Resource planning, forecasting, and effort estimation will be essential to meet project objectives. Strong stakeholder management skills are required to keep all parties informed, supported, and engaged. This role demands strong leadership, a passion for meeting time, cost, and quality constraints, and the ability to seek trade-offs and alternatives to ensure project success. A hardworking, supportive, and collaborative work ethic that sets an example to others is essential.
Experience
Experience working within a project environment is essential. PRINCE2 Practitioner or APM equivalent certification is required. Proven budget control experience in a project environment is necessary. Demonstrated leadership and ability to support and collaborate with project teams is expected.

Qualifications
PRINCE2 Practitioner or APM equivalent certification is required. Relevant project management training and experience are essential.
