About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS trusts, providing a full range of hospital and community services across south London and specialist care for patients from further afield. The Trust is renowned for clinical excellence, high quality teaching, research, and a commitment to patient safety and experience. It is part of King’s Health Partners and works closely with King’s College London to deliver world-leading clinical research and care.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive, hardworking, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join the Trust Quality and Compliance Team as a Quality Assurance Manager (Band 7) on a permanent basis within the Quality and Assurance Directorate.

The post holder will contribute to delivering high-quality, safe, and effective care through a portfolio of trust-wide quality and improvement workstreams. A key responsibility will be leading and supporting trust-wide acute deterioration metrics, including early warning scores and sepsis performance, involving monitoring, analysis, reporting, and collaborative improvement work with clinical and operational teams.

Additional responsibilities include supporting diabetes and other clinical quality workstreams, developing and evaluating improvement programmes aligned with Trust priorities, and working closely with stakeholders across the organisation. The role requires eagerness to learn, proactivity in skill development, and commitment to continuous improvement in personal performance and service delivery.

The Trust’s Quality and Compliance Department consists of 8 team members focused on delivering the Trust’s quality strategy and maintaining compliance with statutory duties and regulations. The team collaborates with other Quality and Assurance teams and corporate services to triangulate information and respond to quality and patient safety themes.
