About the Role
Hackney Council is one of the most dynamic and progressive local authorities in the UK, serving a resilient, vibrant, and creative borough with strong, diverse communities and shared values. Excellent communication and partnership working skills are essential.
You will demonstrate a ‘can-do’ attitude, drive service improvements and innovation, and have experience working cross-departmentally and/or with community networks.
Hackney Council values its staff as its most outstanding asset, dedicated to serving residents and committed to organisational goals. We are working towards a vision of being a place for everyone, fostering belonging through active inclusion, kindness, open dialogue, proactive collaboration, accountability, unity, diversity, and anti-racist behaviour.
We operate a fair and open anonymous selection process and encourage applicants to showcase their unique knowledge and skills in their own voice. The closing date for applications is 06 October 2026 (22:59) with interviews and assessments scheduled for the week commencing 19 October 2026.
