About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust is one of the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS trusts, providing a wide range of hospital and community services across south London and specialist care nationally. The Trust is renowned for clinical excellence, teaching, and research, and is part of King’s Health Partners, an accredited UK academic health sciences centre. The Oncology and Haematology Clinical Trials (OHCT) team, with over ninety staff, manages a large portfolio of Phase II and III trials, including early phase trials, working closely with clinical teams to recruit and monitor patients.

The Roving Senior Data Manager will work across multiple research teams to ensure high quality data management in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), MHRA regulations, and institutional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role involves close collaboration with clinical teams, researchers, and IT personnel to facilitate accurate data collection, secure data handling, and efficient trial management. Responsibilities include maintaining Investigator Site Files, managing trial documentation, verifying source data, preparing for audits and monitoring visits, leading departmental data management training, contributing to SOP development, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The post holder will play a key role in ensuring trials are managed to all regulatory requirements, supporting the smooth running of the service, and supervising junior staff and data managers as required. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge clinical research within a supportive and dynamic environment.
