About the Role
As a Sales Advisor at Samsonite, you will offer customers exceptional service by projecting a positive image of the Company at all times to maximise sales. You will assist in maintaining a tidy and well-presented store, ensuring high standards in all areas. Your responsibilities include providing professional advice and demonstrations of Samsonite products to create a friendly shopping experience, introducing selling benefits and product features, and maximising sales through detailed product knowledge and add-on sales. You will handle customer enquiries, complaints, and phone queries tactfully in line with Company Policy, process transactions efficiently, and be knowledgeable about after sales service, warranties, promotions, and sales targets.

In addition, you will manage stock deliveries and discrepancies, maintain stockrooms, assist with merchandising and store layouts, and support stock counts. You will remain vigilant regarding security issues, ensuring Company Procedures are followed when handling stock and monies. Maintaining high housekeeping standards, including daily cleaning and care of fixtures and fittings, is essential.

Operational duties include handling telephone enquiries politely and efficiently, communicating customer orders to Head Office, and opening and closing the store according to Company Procedures. You will also carry out stock and personnel administration as directed by Management.

Attendance expectations include reporting 10 minutes before shifts, timely communication of absences directly to your Manager by telephone, making up any lost business time, and attending training courses punctually. Appearance must be well-groomed and neat in line with the Company Dress Policy. You will also be expected to act promptly on any accidents or potential dangers, adhering to Health and Safety and fire safety procedures.

Additional duties of a similar nature may be assigned by Management as required.

Experience
Previous experience in retail is required. Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets is essential.

About you
You should be a team player and motivator with strong brand sensibility and a good command of English. Flexibility and the ability to stand constantly, bend, and frequently lift luggage up to 15 kilos are necessary. Computer literacy is also required.

Qualifications
Good communication skills and a professional appearance in line with Company Dress Policy are expected. Knowledge of sales techniques and customer service is advantageous.
