The supervisor’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Customer Service
Apply the Smiles selling standards with each customer and follow every step of the selling process proposed by the Training Manager to maximize customer opportunities. Use up-to-date technical product knowledge and company resources such as Quest to enhance customer service. Actively build customer loyalty and provide outstanding service that exceeds expectations. Reflect the brand’s values and demonstrate passion for Samsonite.

Store Performance & Analysis
Stay aware of all communications and instructions sent to the store. Understand the store budget, targets, and KPIs. Report any information that can contribute to the store’s success.

Stock Management
Assist in managing stock, ensure correct pricing of products on the shop floor, and minimize losses to achieve shrinkage targets below 0.5%. Coordinate stock movement and planning with the central retail team.

Human Resources Management
Assist in training, coaching, motivating, developing, and retaining staff. Help develop team spirit. Complete relevant forms for staff lateness and conduct return to work interviews when the manager is off.

Operations
Apply all authorized company operational policies and procedures, especially those related to cash handling, banking, opening and closing, and till procedures. Maintain required paperwork and meet deadlines. Ensure store cleanliness and a customer-friendly environment. Perform duties requested by the Store Manager and comply with local trading requirements. Participate in training as required and support environmental policies in line with Green Mark.

Merchandising, Marketing & Promotions
Maintain visual merchandising and window displays according to Samsonite’s global standards. Stay informed about current promotions and marketing campaigns, helping to launch them on time.

Communication
Communicate clearly, politely, and courteously while listening to others. Keep informed about local and market trends, share information, and make recommendations to the Store Manager. Comply with personnel dress code and grooming standards. Act as an ambassador for the company and its brands.

Reporting Line
Reports directly to the Store Manager.

Experience
Previous retail experience, preferably within a supervisory role, is preferred. Ability to work under pressure and maintain a sales-oriented mindset.

About you
Passion for travel and brand sensibility. Flexibility and adaptability. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 15kg, and use ladders. Computer literacy.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications required, but relevant retail or supervisory experience is advantageous.
