We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a Senior Level Chartered Building Surveyor to join our well-established L&I Technical Due Diligence and Building Surveying team. This role primarily involves managing transaction-based assignments across the UK, focusing on technical advisory services with scope for personal career growth and skill application.

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will bring outstanding technical expertise and extensive experience in commercial surveying and consultancy, particularly in Technical Due Diligence (TDD). You will manage and commission assignments, balancing a dynamic workload with multiple simultaneous instructions. Delivering high-quality services and collaborating within larger commission teams to achieve exceptional client outcomes will be central to your role. Direct client interaction requires confidence and professionalism, alongside effective time management to meet deadlines and ensure financial performance accountability.

Key responsibilities include providing detailed TDD advice to identify risks, assess severity, quantify impacts, and recommend mitigation strategies to maximize client asset value. You will also deliver core building surveying services across various commercial building types. This role offers significant responsibility and accountability, with opportunities for managerial and technical development within a growing specialist team.

Additional duties involve managing service delivery risks, driving organic revenue growth, supporting business plan objectives, and maintaining efficient financial control in collaboration with Project Managers and Team Leaders. You will represent Arcadis professionally, act as a trusted advisor, provide regular contract progress updates to the Sector Director, and mentor junior surveyors to foster team growth and technical knowledge.

Experience
Degree and MRICS qualified with relevant post-qualification experience (PQE). Extensive background in commercial surveying and consultancy, particularly in Technical Due Diligence. Proven ability to manage and commission multiple assignments effectively while maintaining high standards and client satisfaction.

Qualifications
