About the Role
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. With over 34,000 people across more than 30 countries, we are dedicated to improving quality of life by solving the world’s most complex challenges together.

Our two-year Graduate GROW Programme supports your transition from student to professional, involving client work and real projects from day one. Each graduate’s journey is unique, shaped by their chosen specialism and the variety of projects they contribute to. You will build technical expertise by contributing to meaningful client engagements and project work, while developing business acumen and professional skills through centrally delivered graduate cohort training.

As a specialist and science graduate joining GROW, you will specialise from day one in your chosen discipline. Working in teams of consultants, you will be responsible for your own deliverables, liaise with clients, and have every opportunity to build your skillsets and technical expertise.

You will work on a range of environmental and planning projects including major infrastructure, urban regeneration, and community-focused initiatives, exposing you to a variety of challenges and technical specialists.

Role Accountabilities:
The Design & Construction Safety Team has extensive knowledge and experience in eliminating and managing risks associated with construction projects from initial feasibility and survey investigation through to design, construction, and safe access and maintenance of completed assets. You will assist in delivering project-related tasks such as initial site visits, reviewing and identifying gaps in survey information, scoping gaps on appointment of specialist consultants, and reviewing design development at each stage to ensure design and construction risks are eliminated or reduced to their lowest manageable level.

Requirements

Experience
You will be graduating in 2027 or have recently graduated in 2025 or 2026 with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree. Typical Arcadian skills include resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and being a team player.

About you
Excellent communication skills with the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders. Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required (virtual working embraced where possible). Comfortable with site-based working when required. Hold a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications
Accepted degrees include BEng/BSc in design-related fields such as Architecture, Civil Engineering, Building Services, or Construction Management. Interest in Safety Management is essential.
