As a Senior Cost Consultant, you will take responsibility for end-to-end service delivery, often on large and complex commissions across Private and/or Public sectors. You will ensure client objectives are met through delivering a value-added cost management service.
Your responsibilities will include conducting feasibility studies, business cases and writing procurement reports; applying value management techniques at project outset; managing estimating and cost planning activities including ownership and presentation of the final cost plan; overseeing the procurement process from prequalification through contract preparation; managing post-contract cost variances and change control processes; ensuring effective cost checking and valuation work; producing and presenting monthly post-contract cost reports to clients; attending and actively participating in meetings; value engineering and life cycle costing; negotiating and agreeing final accounts; acting as a key interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages; and supporting marketing and business development activities within your sector to promote Mace in the region.
We champion a safe, diverse and inclusive working environment, prioritising wellbeing in every team. Our values include safety first, client focus, integrity, and creating opportunities for our people to excel. Mace is an inclusive employer welcoming applications from a diverse range of candidates. We are open to discussing part-time, flexible, and hybrid working options where suitable within the role.
