About the Role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. As a Senior Digital Engineering and BIM Manager, you will support the Project Team throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring resources meet project goals and communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include conducting interviews for BIM roles, developing BIM execution plans (BEP), and creating the client's digital handover strategy. You will maintain an understanding of ISO19650 and applicable standards, ensure security protocols for information handling, and implement governance and assurance processes. Monitoring digital handover to completion and participating in industry events to stay current with BIM developments are key aspects of this role.

You will produce information requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR, and EIR) as per ISO 19650, develop information standards, methods, procedures, and shared resources, and raise job requisitions to recruit new BIM talent. Researching compliance with new regulations, developing object libraries aligned with BIM strategy, and assuring and checking information models (Pre-RIBA Stage 3) are also part of your duties.

Additionally, you will review Autodesk Construction Cloud account management, explore new technology solutions to improve BIM processes, support construction sequencing strategies, and assist the cost team in preparing cost plans from information models. Providing training on databases, data analysis, templates, assurance, COBie production, and other BIM-related topics will be essential. You will upskill client teams, Mace project managers, and design teams through BIM knowledge sharing sessions and collaborate on procedural elements and compliance with the Mace Way.

Identifying and implementing continuous improvement plans, managing and influencing key senior stakeholders, and fostering internal and external relationships are critical to success. You will also contribute to the common goal of net zero carbon transition by proactively managing associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.
