About the Role
Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to unlock potential in every person or project and redefine the boundaries of ambition. As a Senior Digital Engineering and BIM Manager, you will support the Project Team throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring resources meet project goals and communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. Your responsibilities include developing BIM execution plans (BEP), digital handover strategies, and maintaining compliance with ISO 19650 and other applicable standards. You will implement governance and assurance processes, monitor digital handover to completion, and participate in industry events to stay current with BIM developments.

You will produce information requirements (OIR, AIR, PIR, and EIR), information standards, methods, procedures, and shared resources. You will also raise job requisitions to recruit new BIM talent, research compliance with regulations, and develop object libraries aligned with the wider BIM strategy. Your role involves assurance and checking of information models, production of information models (pre-RIBA Stage 3), and reviewing Autodesk Construction Cloud account management.

Additionally, you will review current technology solutions and research emerging technologies to improve BIM processes, support construction sequencing strategies, and assist the cost team in preparing cost plans from information models. Providing training on databases, data analysis, template creation, assurance, COBie production, and other BIM-related topics is also key. You will upskill client teams, Mace project managers, and design teams through BIM knowledge sharing sessions.

Collaboration with Mace PM and Design teams on procedural elements and compliance with the Mace Way is essential, as is identifying and implementing continuous improvement plans. You will develop and maintain internal and external relationships, manage and influence key senior stakeholders, and work collaboratively towards net zero carbon transition by proactively managing associated carbon emissions and reductions during project delivery.
