About the Role
As a Senior Electoral Services Officer, you will provide expert advice and support on all matters relating to Electoral Services, ensuring all statutory duties are met in accordance with legislation and guidance. You will lead key elements of delivery and support the Head of Electoral Services with the development, direction-setting, and delivery of services aligned with modern working practices and professional best standards. Your role will ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) and Returning Officers (RO) statutory duties. Additionally, you will deputise for the Head of Electoral Services as required.

Experience
Proven experience in training and supporting staff, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and assimilate legislative changes. Good knowledge of Electoral Management Software and Microsoft Office packages is essential.

You will have a strong understanding of electoral law and good practice procedures to effectively fulfil the role. You should be capable of contributing to team development and demonstrate professionalism in delivering statutory duties.

Qualifications
You are required to hold the Certificate in Electoral Administration or be willing to undertake training to attain this qualification.
