As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and oversight for the Electrical Design function, ensuring the delivery of safe, compliant and high-quality electrical design solutions that meet business, statutory, contractual and client requirements. You will support technical assurance, design governance and continuous improvement across projects.

Your responsibilities will include providing technical leadership and advice on electrical design matters; reviewing and assuring electrical design deliverables, standards and compliance; managing the development and implementation of electrical design processes and best practices; line management and development of MEP Design team members; overseeing internal and external audits, certification and compliance activities; directing design reviews, lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives; identifying, managing and mitigating technical risks and design quality issues; supporting internal and external audits, certification activities and compliance reviews; delivering technical training, mentoring and knowledge sharing; supporting multidisciplinary coordination and technical workshops; supporting business development activities, bids and technical proposals; monitoring the technical performance of design partners and supply chain members; supporting commissioning, testing and handover activities; and contributing to net zero carbon objectives through efficient and sustainable electrical design solutions.

Experience
Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent). Typically 15+ years' experience delivering electrical design on complex projects, with strong knowledge of power, lighting, life safety and low-voltage systems. Proven experience in technical assurance, design reviews and multidisciplinary coordination.

Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification is required. Additional certifications related to electrical design and technical assurance are advantageous.
