About the Role
As our Senior Finance Business Partner - Corporate Services & PMO, you'll play a pivotal role in providing strategic financial leadership and partnering support across our Corporate Services and Project Management Office (PMO). Reporting into the Head of Finance Business Partnering, you'll work closely with senior leaders to shape financial strategy, influence decision-making, and ensure resources are aligned to deliver organisational priorities. You will provide expert financial advice, insightful analysis, and robust financial planning that enables our Corporate Services and PMO functions to deliver value for our residents and colleagues. Your key responsibilities will include partnering with Corporate Services and PMO leadership teams to provide strategic financial advice and challenge; leading financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting across your business areas; developing financial strategies that support departmental objectives while aligning with NHG's wider corporate goals; delivering insightful financial analysis and performance reporting to support informed business decisions; monitoring and optimising financial performance by identifying opportunities for efficiencies and improved value for money; building collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to become a trusted business advisor; producing flexible and meaningful financial reporting that supports evolving business needs; supporting business cases, investment decisions, and transformation initiatives with high-quality financial analysis; and ensuring strong financial governance, compliance, and effective financial controls across Corporate Services and PMO.

Experience
Significant experience in finance business partnering within a large or complex organisation. Proven ability to influence decision-making at both operational and strategic levels. Experience managing, developing, and motivating individuals or teams to achieve high performance. Experience developing effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

About you
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information and present clear recommendations. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility across all levels of the organisation. Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI is desirable. A strong understanding of financial governance, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.

Qualifications
CCAB qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent) with evidence of continuing professional development. Pending confirmation of legislative changes, this role may require a qualification to demonstrate competence. If not already qualified, there may be an expectation to study towards a professional qualification.
