About the Role
Camden Council is seeking a Senior Housing Repairs Coordinator to join our Housing Repairs Contact Centre. This key role involves leading the day-to-day planning and scheduling of a high volume of repair works from the initial customer call through to completion. You will handle complex cases, support residents, and play a leadership role by mentoring and guiding colleagues to ensure service standards are consistently met and residents receive a first-class experience.

You will lead and coordinate the scheduling and allocation of responsive repairs, act as the first point of contact for operatives and contractors while tracking progress in real time, and train and support Housing Repairs Coordinators within the team. The role requires managing high call volumes and complex enquiries with professionalism and care, ensuring repairs are processed accurately in line with Camden’s policies and statutory requirements. You will monitor outstanding works, escalate delays, drive completion within set timescales, contribute to service improvements, and work closely with repairs supervisors to maximise operatives’ efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Flexible working options are available and open to discussion. We encourage you to visit our Holmes Road depot on Friday 3 October from 9:30am for a chance to meet the team, learn about our new service, and see what it’s like to work with us.
