About the Role
As the Financial Crime Lead for the Data & Analytics sector within the broader Financial Crime Advisory team, you will operate in the Group Financial Crime 2LOD function. You will work closely with partners across our Data & Analytics business to drive and ensure financial crime compliance and accountability. Your responsibilities include oversight of entities' compliance with AML and broader Financial Crime legislation, ensuring adherence to Group policies and procedures to counter financial crime risks, and reporting to Boards, Risk Committees, and Senior Management to provide transparency and escalation of financial crime matters. You will act as the primary contact for financial crime issues, risk events, and higher risk scenarios, oversee risk assessments, and assess the effectiveness of controls and policies. Additionally, you will monitor Financial Crime Operations, reporting key metrics and representing Financial Crime at internal committees and new product reviews. Providing expert compliance advice, promoting financial crime awareness, and managing relationships with internal and external partners including regulatory bodies are key aspects of this role. You will also ensure timely updates to risk assessments, policies, and procedures in response to regulatory, legislative, and geopolitical developments, and collaborate with business partners to maintain compliance with financial crime policies and processes.
