About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to provide professional advice and leadership on operational and maintenance requirements to support GBRX Programme activities. You will play a key role in the integration of ERTMS and other technological advancements, acting as an operational expert within the railway industry. The role involves providing technical leadership to Rail Industry Partners and Bodies to help deliver a safe, modern, and high-performing railway. You will work on groundbreaking projects that drive transformative change and improve customer experiences within the railway sector. This hybrid role balances regular in-office collaboration with remote working, encouraging flexibility while enabling close teamwork with a diverse group of experts.

Experience
- Knowledge of railway operational practices, including train planning, railway signalling, ERTMS, or train operation
- Detailed knowledge of operational signalling standards and procedures, signalling principles, and signalling operation
- Knowledge of risk management and Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) techniques
- Excellent knowledge of railway rules and standards associated with maintenance and operational performance
