About the Role
Balfour Beatty has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Package Manager to join our outstanding Major Projects team to work at our Old Oak Common development in London – the largest construction project in the UK. HS2's new c. £1 billion Old Oak Common station will become the UK's best-connected rail station once completed. Our Balfour Beatty VINCI SYTRA joint venture will be responsible for the final design, construction, and commissioning of the station in Northwest London. Upon completion, the new station will boast six underground platforms and up to eight platforms on the adjacent Great Western Main Line. Old Oak Common will also provide high-speed rail services to the Midlands, central London, Scotland, and the North, as well as direct services to three major airports. Incorporating passenger and retail facilities, the new station will provide an exceptional customer experience for both passengers and visitors to the station.

The Senior Package Manager – Management Information & Reporting is responsible for shaping, integrating and translating project controls data and management information into clear, accurate and actionable intelligence that enables effective decision-making across the Above Ground Stations portfolio. The role acts as the focal point for the consolidation and interpretation of programme, cost, commercial, schedule, risk, change, design and delivery information, bringing together data from multiple sources to establish a single, trusted view of project performance.

Working closely with project controls, delivery, commercial and technical teams, the postholder develops meaningful management information, identifies trends, risks and opportunities, and produces high-quality reports and dashboards tailored to the needs of different stakeholders. The role supports project teams, senior leadership, BBVS management and the HS2 client in making timely, evidence-based decisions that improve project outcomes and delivery performance.

The position is accountable for ensuring that management information is accurate, timely and insightful whilst driving continuous improvement in reporting quality, data governance, reporting systems and business intelligence capability.
