About the Role
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. With over 34,000 people across more than 30 countries, we are dedicated to improving quality of life by solving complex challenges together. Our Nuclear Business Unit supports programmes that protect the natural environment, water resources, and energy systems while powering the world for future generations. In response to climate change, rapid urbanisation, and biodiversity loss, we deliver resilient and sustainable solutions in highly regulated environments.

As a Senior Planner within the Nuclear team, you will lead the development, integration, maintenance, and assurance of project and programme schedules. Your role will ensure schedules are robust, logic-linked, auditable, and aligned with scope, delivery strategy, governance, and reporting requirements. You will establish and maintain planning standards and controls, manage schedule baselines, progress updates, change impact assessments, and ensure schedule traceability. Driving integration between planning, cost, risk, change, scope, and reporting functions, you will maintain a coherent project controls baseline and clear performance narrative.

You will provide schedule assurance and constructive challenge across multiple disciplines and delivery partners, lead planning input to governance forums, integrated baseline reviews, and performance assurance activities. Your analysis of schedule performance, critical path, trends, risks, and opportunities will inform delivery confidence and recovery options. You will oversee contract-driven planning activities and support delivery strategy, programme phasing, business case input, and scenario planning through robust schedule analysis.

Facilitating planning workshops with multidisciplinary stakeholders, you will agree scope, logic, sequencing, assumptions, dependencies, constraints, milestones, and decision points. Additionally, you will provide line management, coaching, and development support to planners, champion continuous improvement in planning processes, tools, schedule quality, and reporting outputs. The scope of accountability will be aligned to experience and programme needs, ranging from schedule assurance to integrated controls leadership.
