About the Role

As Senior Planning Manager, you will be accountable for managing the planning function across projects and tenders, ensuring effective scheduling, monitoring, and control. You will support project delivery to achieve timely and profitable outcomes, with responsibility for planning medium to high-complexity projects, portfolios, or key sections of major programmes.
You will own all aspects of the planning process including the integrated programme, critical paths, client programmes, and the analysis and acceptance of contractor programmes. Ensuring cost loading of programmes to the appropriate level of cost and progress capture will be key. You will analyse contractor programmes and provide feedback to project management including run rates, schedule risks, and mitigation measures/opportunities.
Your role will include leading all aspects of contractual management for programme related events, directing key assignments, strengthening planning performance, and ensuring effective project scheduling and monitoring. You will support strategic development, due diligence, and sustainable business growth while fostering collaboration, sharing best practice, and building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Experience
Degree qualified with seven years’ relevant experience in linear infrastructure delivery. Proven commercial acumen and senior stakeholder management. Strong planning and infrastructure project expertise. Experienced leader with sustainability and carbon awareness.
