About the Role
We are seeking an experienced social work practitioner to join our growing team within the Integrated Learning Disability Service (ILDS). You will be key to providing quality social work to the people of Hackney. You will join a dynamic, integrated multi-disciplinary community service which provides specialist health and social care services to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs in Hackney.

As a Senior Practitioner within ILDS, you will support practitioners at all levels of their career development, utilising your supervisory skills and deputising for the Team Manager to help the team achieve the best outcomes for our residents.

You will work within the Hackney Integrated Learning Disability Service, organised into multi-disciplinary care programmes including Preparing for Adulthood, Intensive Support, and Ongoing Support & Reviews, providing a broad range of interventions.

You will join a team of social workers employed by London Borough of Hackney and health professionals employed by East London Foundation Trust. The service supports people across Hackney and the City in relation to their health needs, aiming to help residents achieve their full potential and fulfil their aspirations.

Experience
Significant post-qualification experience within statutory services, including supervisory or management support to social work practitioners. Experience working with adults with learning disabilities, ideally in a multidisciplinary setting. Knowledge of Court of Protection processes is desirable.

Qualifications
Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England. Sound knowledge of the Care Act (2014), Mental Capacity Act (2005), Safeguarding, and other relevant legislation relating to adults with learning disabilities.
