About the Role
Guy’s and St Thomas’ is among the UK’s busiest and most successful NHS foundation trusts, providing a full range of hospital and community services for people in south London, as well as specialist care for patients from further afield. We are seeking to appoint a substantive Programme Manager for the Long Term Condition Programme, specifically responsible for the cardiovascular disease prevention programme, which is a priority for HINs nationally and regionally. The ideal candidate will understand how projects work, have experience leading projects independently, and be confident in leading project reporting for a programme. You will work well as part of a team, balance priorities across multiple projects, and provide supportive and inspirational line management to team members. This opportunity is available only to internal candidates.

Requirements

Experience
Experience implementing innovation in healthcare settings, managing and successfully delivering complex projects, and successful partnership working across different organizations and sectors.

About you
You should have a strong understanding of cardiovascular disease pathways and relevant innovations, the ability to lead and motivate teams in planning and implementing service development, and a commitment to embracing HIN’s values of bravery, kindness, openness, diversity, and collaboration.

Qualifications
Masters or equivalent level of post-graduate specialist training, short courses, or relevant experience.
