About the Role
Camden Council is seeking an experienced Senior Service Designer to lead service design projects across Camden's services. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including policy, strategy, data, and research to scope, plan, and deliver impactful work that benefits residents and communities. The role is part of the Strategy & Design team within Corporate Services, focusing on preventative health and social care, thriving communities for social housing tenants, and supporting those experiencing financial hardship.

As a Senior Service Designer, you will lead service design work, providing clear direction and ensuring high-quality outputs. You will build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders, supporting them to shape and envision impactful work. You will support teams to deliver at pace, enabling collaboration and high performance. Additionally, you will contribute to shaping the service design practice towards more equitable and inclusive design and manage service designer(s), providing pastoral care and professional development support.

The team champions innovative problem-solving, inclusive design approaches, and continuous improvement to meet the needs and expectations of Camden’s residents and staff.
