About the Role
Camden Council is seeking an experienced Senior Service Designer to lead service design projects across Camden's services. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including policy, strategy, data, and research to scope, plan, and deliver impactful work that benefits residents and communities. The role involves shaping public services around the needs of Camden's residents by considering the entire experience for both residents and staff, not just processes or systems.

As a Senior Service Designer, you will lead projects, provide clear direction, and ensure high-quality outputs and deliverables. You will build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders, supporting them to envision and shape impactful work. Supporting teams to deliver at pace and fostering collaboration will be key aspects of your role.

You will also contribute to developing the service design practice towards more equitable and inclusive design, and manage service designer(s), providing pastoral care and supporting their professional development.

This role sits within the Strategy & Design team in Corporate Services, working across the Council’s services with a focus on preventative health and social care, thriving communities for social housing tenants, and support for those experiencing financial hardship. Experience
Proven experience leading service design projects, delivering high-quality outcomes. Experience working collaboratively with senior stakeholders to achieve meaningful impact. Demonstrated ability to support project teams to deliver effectively and at pace.
