About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Supervisor to join our Connect Plus Services (CPS) team, supporting the M25 London Orbital Motorway project. CPS is a joint venture between Balfour Beatty, Atkins and Egis, responsible for operating and maintaining the M25—Europe’s busiest motorway. Delivering over £100m of annual investment alongside planned and reactive maintenance, this is a complex and high-profile network requiring robust and efficient planning.
If you are building a career in highways, this role offers exposure to one of the UK’s most challenging and dynamic infrastructure environments.

The Senior Supervisor will ensure safe, compliant and accurate delivery of schemes from pre-construction through to practical site completion by leading and managing the Supervisor team and associated processes, procedures and working practices. You will lead Supervisors who support construction phase relationships and provide information to CPS teams to plan safe and cost-effective solutions to maintain or improve the asset to agreed standards.

The role ensures suitable engineering supervision of construction operations, managing Design, Health & Safety, Asbestos and Temporary Works in line with design, process and contractual responsibilities. You will hold responsibilities under CDM regulations and NEC contract requirements, ensuring practical constructability reviews during pre-construction design and inspection and witnessing onsite.

This role is independent from framework contractors and focuses on ensuring the project is constructed according to design, specifications and procedures.

Principal Accountabilities:
- Demonstrate and promote Connect Plus Services values of Safe & Well, Excellence, Reliable and Sustainable.
- Achieve responsibilities and objectives set within the annual Health and Safety Plan across projects, leading continuous improvement of team culture.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with Portfolio Managers, Construction Engineers, project teams, clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood, communicated and delivered.
- Lead and develop a team of Supervisors by ensuring access to accurate information, clear work priorities and reporting requirements.
- Ensure timely and effective written communications including progress reporting, safety observations, DWB, EWN and safety engagement discussions.
- Manage resource allocation and work scheduling to maximise utilisation and delivery performance.
- Manage PDRs, audits, competency development and training requirements.
- Drive consistently high standards of performance, productivity, quality and safety.
- Share knowledge, best practice and resources across the Project Delivery Team to maximise efficiencies and reduce business risk.
- Contribute to the integrated delivery team by maintaining high standards of safety and quality through monitoring construction works.
- Lead resolution of technical and operational issues through effective coordination with project teams and supervisors.
- Develop design understanding to strengthen the link between design development and technical construction delivery onsite.
