About the Role
Join us at Raffles London at The OWO, a landmark Grade II* Edwardian building on Whitehall, where luxury, heritage, and extraordinary experiences come together. As a Senior Waiter in The Guards Bar, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service from the moment guests arrive until they leave, ensuring their experience is memorable and seamless. You will work closely with waiters and bartenders, supporting food pick up, table service, clearing, station refills, and drink service. You will maintain the bar and stations, act as a communication link between front of house and back of house, support the hostess and team members, and relay guest feedback to management.
Your responsibilities include thorough knowledge of the menu and products, delivering food orders promptly with detailed explanations, assisting with table settings, checking in with guests for additional orders or refills, and ensuring food safety standards are met. You will also commit to sustainable practices in waste management and purchasing. In the absence of line managers or senior employees, you may take on additional responsibilities and assist in other departments as required.
Health and safety are paramount; you will be expected to report and rectify hazards, be familiar with fire, emergency, and bomb procedures, and promote a safe working environment for all staff and guests.
