About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Dental Directorate as a Service Manager. We are advertising for 2 full-time permanent roles within the Dental Directorate. This role involves managing a large A&C team and collaborating with clinical and nursing teams to enhance patient experience, access, and digital & pathway innovation. The ideal candidate will possess an excellent track record in operational management, along with the commitment and leadership skills necessary to support the delivery of an ambitious and exciting vision for our service.

Essential Criteria
Educated to degree level or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience. Evidence of recent continuing professional development.
Desirable Criteria
Understanding of improvement methodology.
Experience
Essential Criteria
Operational experience in managing specific services, including design, development, implementation, and management of change in a multi-professional environment. Experience of managing complex budgets from various income sources and demonstrable evidence of individual, team, financial, process, and change management.
Desirable Criteria
Knowledge and understanding of the changing NHS environment, strategy, and policy agendas.
Skills
Essential Criteria
Knowledge of operations management methodologies and techniques. Effective people and project management skills. Ability to use analytical and judgment skills, including understanding and application of complex statistical and numerical data. Flexibility to work and prioritize in response to changing demands and requirements. Excellent interpersonal, communication (written, oral, presentation, facilitation), networking, and negotiation skills.
