Key responsibilities include:
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head chef, ensuring food safety standards are always met.
- Station Management: Oversee production of all dishes assigned to your station, maintain supplies, and ensure cleanliness in line with policies.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards for all dishes, focusing on presentation and taste.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate positively and effectively with team members, assist colleagues, and coach junior chefs to support their development.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the head chef to develop and taste new recipes, offering suggestions for improvement and innovation.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and ensure equipment is in good working order.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience working as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
