About the Role
We are seeking a Supervisor with a strong background in responsive repairs and proven experience managing operatives to deliver high-quality maintenance services. In this role, you will support the Project Lead and manage a team of administrators, operatives, and subcontractors across multiple workstreams including Voids, Disrepair, Day-to-Day Repairs, and Planned Works. You will drive team performance, ensure service excellence, and uphold high standards of customer satisfaction. This position offers the opportunity to step up and lead the contract when required, making it an excellent role for someone aiming to progress into senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support your team to meet KPIs and service standards
- Manage scheduling, inspections, and quality control
- Conduct 1-2-1s, toolbox talks, and team meetings
- Liaise with clients and produce performance reports
- Oversee health & safety compliance across all activities
- Support onboarding, training, and development of staff

Experience
- Background in responsive repairs with experience managing operatives
- Experience in housing maintenance and site management
- Commercial awareness and ability to manage budgets
About you
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proactive, supportive, and assertive approach
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence
Qualifications
- Minimum SSSTS qualification required
- SMSTS or IOSH preferred
- Trade-related certifications such as Asbestos Awareness and Scaffold Inspections
- Solid understanding and competency in Health & Safety
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and report writing
